Argentina: Chinese military equipment to boost Buenos Aires G20 security

Argentinian Minister of Security Patricia Bullrich presented military equipment donated by China to boost the country's security ahed of the upcoming G20 summit in Buenos Aires on Friday.

The donation is worth about USD 17.5 million (EUR 15 million) and was negotiated for over a year by the authorities of both countries. All the material will collaborate in the operations with which the security of the most important leaders of the world will be safeguarded.

The material will be used by the special groups GEOF and GE1 during the G20 summit will take place between November 30 and December 1.

The equipment includes four CSK 162 all-terrain vehicles, 30 motorcycles destined to the Federal Police, equipment of last generation to detect explosives and suits to manipulate pumps all manufactured in China.
